Weddings and Engagements

The Salisbury Post has launched an all-new format and packages for brides-to-be and brides: A portal on our web site, www.salisburypost.com, to Brides365, an efficient new site for you to report your wedding news to the Post for print and web!! Not only will this provide a venue to post all the fun news about your engagement/wedding; you can also upload UNLIMITED PHOTOS! See the guide below for additional size packages available.

Guidelines for All Other Celebrations

Forms are available for all other types of Celebration announcement, which may be picked up at our office, mailed or faxed to you or printed off our website. We can compose the announcement from the information on the form or you can write it yourself, and we’ll cut, paste and check it for you. Forms may be submitted by fax or mail; scanned and emailed to us; or delivered in person. Contact information is on the front page of each form.

Suggestions

Engagements: Did you propose in a special or unique way? You can include that in your announcement.

Weddings: We can add descriptions of the bride’s dress, bouquet, rings, bridesmaids’ attire, special reception details or anything unique about your celebration.

We also print Graduations, Adoptions, Bon Voyages, Retirements, and so on.

Prices include one-year Celebration page display on our website, www.Salisburypost.com, and 10 copies of ther newspaper.

Photographs

For best reproduction, please submit professional black and white or color photographs, with sharp focus and good contrast. Light backgrounds tend to be better than dark backgrounds. Please write your name on the back.

Size can be between 2 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep, up to 8x10. Photos can be reduced more effectively than enlarged. The Post cannot be responsible for poor reproduction caused by soft-focus photos, instant photos, or poor focus.

We accept disks and emails, but please ensure minimum 200 dpi quality; a photo that looks OK on the Internet may not reproduce well in print.
